BIA stands behind board member Ori Feibush

Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA) board member Ori Feibush of OCF Realty was the victim of a heinous and senseless crime this week.

According to the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms’ Philadelphia division, a person, or group of individuals, intentionally set fire to Ori’s project in Point Breeze, razing four townhomes and damaging many others. Arson has NO PLACE in this city. This malicious act not only destroyed property, but also put at risk the lives of nearly 100 Philadelphians, including neighbors and the 75 firefighters who battled the two-alarm blaze on May 1.

The BIA stands behind Ori and is pledging $2,500 to the Citizens Crime Commission to support law enforcement efforts to find those responsible for this damage and hold them accountable for their actions.

As Philadelphia grows and changes, tensions are sometimes inevitable. But all citizens can agree that there must be zero tolerance for this level of violence and destruction.
