BIA YP Monthly Speaker Series Presents:

John Mondlak
Deputy Director of Development Services
Office of Planning and Development

The BIA YP has heard from numerous BIA builders and developers and now we have an opportunity to learn more about the city department that helps these members move their projects forward.

Join us for a meeting with John Mondlak, Deputy Director of Development Services. The Office of Planning and Development is charged with ensuring all Philadelphians have access to affordable housing options and public art and that the city’s unique history is preserved. The department creates citywide and neighborhood plans, implements zoning, and assists developers as they move projects through the approval process.

John has worked on real estate development for the City of Philadelphia for more than 19 years and represents the city on the BIA Board of Directors as an Advisory/Ex-Officio member. He has been instrumental in helping the BIA work with city agencies on policies and regulations that impact the building industry and is an invaluable resource for understanding how the city operates with respect to real estate development.
