Event Description:
We have all seen the headlines. Builders and contractors must constantly combat the “construction destruction” reputation pushed by the media. The BIA strives to challenge public perception and promote best practices in construction.

On May 3, “Building Better Together” will focus on best practices for the building envelope, providing valuable insight into local issues and highlighting the expertise within BIA’s membership to identify strategies for building durable and resilient places to live for decades to come.

Philadelphia’s Chief Code Official, Betsy Baldwin, and experts in building and design, construction litigation, and risk management will contextualize critical challenges in the marketplace, followed by a flash round of solutions with local contractors and product manufacturers with technical and material knowledge. Interactive exhibits and demonstrations will be on display, offering members a hands-on learning experience before and after the program.
