Join BIA member JUMPStart Philly for an in-person session on reading construction plans. Whether you're a new developer, homeowner, or just curious about how buildings come to life on paper, understanding construction plans is a crucial skill. Join us for this educational workshop led by experienced architect Jesse Smith of JLS Architects. He will walk attendees through the basics of reading and interpreting architectural drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. You'll learn how to identify key symbols, scales, and notations, and gain insights into how plans evolve from concept to construction. Bring your questions and curiosity—no prior experience required!
