Event Description:

Join Alex Goldberg, a member of Nochumson P.C.’s Land Use and Zoning Team, for an informative discussion on navigating Philadelphia’s Civic Design Review (CDR) process. This program will provide developers, property owners, architects, engineers, and land use professionals with practical guidance on preparing for and successfully managing CDR presentations for both as-of-right developments and projects requiring zoning variances or other discretionary approvals.

The panel will explore when CDR applies, best practices for community engagement, presentation strategies, common pitfalls, and how the CDR process can affect project timelines and approvals. Attendees will gain valuable insights into effectively coordinating land use entitlement efforts while addressing design concerns raised by review committees, registered community organizations, and neighborhood stakeholders.

Whether you are pursuing a by-right development or a project requiring zoning relief through the CDR process, this session will provide actionable guidance for navigating one of Philadelphia’s most comprehensive development review processes.

Lunch will be provide to attendees.
