The BIA’s calendar of events – project tours, member breakfasts and happy hours, the annual Builders Conference, Meet the Builders, educational sessions and others – are great opportunities to get involved in building both the city and your business by networking, sharing ideas, making new business connections, and keeping up with industry colleagues.
Join partner organization Green Building United for a 2-hour interactive session for specific energy code changes for additions and alterations with an emphasis on tenant fit outs in large commercial office buildings. The training will include information on other code sections including 2018 IBC that have a significant impact on code compliance in commercial alterations and additions.
This training is targeted at commercial building owners and managers including members of the Philadelphia 2030 District. Architects and engineers that work with owners and managers on tenant improvement projects will also find value in the program.
BIA member Performance Systems Development (PSD) will lead the session on behalf of Green Building United. This training is part of a larger Philadelphia energy code implementation grant funded by Sustainable Development Fund.
Event registration is $50 for non-members of Green Building United and $20 for members of Green Building United. You must sign in to receive the member discount.
