There is strength in numbers. Join the BIA/PBA member drive!

At PBA’s 2017 Summer Board Meeting 2017 President Andrew Kaye issued a challenge to all PBA members. “We have strength in numbers," Andrew said. The health, vitality, and influence of PBA are dependent upon maintaining a vibrant and active membership base. If we can bring PBA’s membership back up to 4,850 builder and associate members, I will give away a cash prize." Andrew's pledge was matched by PBA and another PBA board member and the grand prize is up to $2,400 to date.

Game on.

BIA's membership has grown steadily by about 30 percent for the past four years and we want to match that pace again in 2017. There IS strength in numbers and the support each new member brings makes a difference.

The prize will go to an individual who successfully recruits a new member between August 1 and the end of 2017. New BIA members are automatically enrolled as PBA members. And the existing BIA member who makes the recruitment is eligible for the growing cash prize. President Andrew Kaye will draw one winner from all eligible entries at PBA’s 2018 Winter Board Meeting if PBA has 4,850 members at year end. If PBA only gets to a level of 4,760 builders and associate members, Andrew will give away fifty percent of the prize money to a qualified entrant. The winner will be presented with a check at the meeting.

The PBA Membership Challenge begins August 1, 2017, and ends on December 31, 2017. NAHB’s membership statistics as derived from the NAHB WMS will be used for ascertaining membership goals reached, spike credits awarded, new members secured and any and all other measures necessary to determine eligibility. Data as of December 31, 2017, and produced by NAHB in mid-January 2018 shall constitute the final figures applicable to the PBA Membership Challenge. We are sorry, but no local association or self-reported statistics will be accepted. PBA leadership, in its sole discretion, will decide any questions regarding eligibility.
