Safety First: Construction Workers Should Strictly Adhere to Coronavirus Precautions

Whether you are allowed to continue construction work under the current stay-at-home order or you are looking forward to getting back on the job site when restrictions are lifted, it is imperative that workers learn to alter their behavior NOW.

NAHB Materials

NAHB and construction industry partners developed a Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Plan specifically tailored to construction job sites.

The Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Plan is customizable and covers areas that include manager and worker responsibilities, job site protective measures, cleaning and disinfecting, responding to exposures incidents, and OSHA record-keeping requirements. Member Pennoni Qualified to Provide Construction Oversight

BIA member Pennoni's team of Certified Safety Professionals and Certified Industrial Hygienists can provide oversight of construction projects to assist with compliance of current OSHA and CDC recommendations regarding COVID-19.  Their team can develop worksite health and safety protocols, oversee work activities, and provide daily documentation. Pennoni's industrial hygienists have a minimum of OSHA 30-hour safety training and are intimately familiar with construction health and safety regulations.
